SARWAH: JOURNAL OF ISLAMIC CIVILIZATION AND THOUGHT is a journal published by the Lembaga Penelitian dan Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat IAIN Lhokseumawe, Aceh Province, Indonesia. It is a multidisciplinary, peer-reviewed journal intended to cover research related to the Islamic civilization and thought in the Malay World. It is positioned to communicate original research and current issues with a very wide-ranging coverage, consolidates fundamental and applied research activities and academic reflective work. Contributions will be encouraged from scholars within and across disciplines (e.g., Islamic religion, natural and social science, and education) to foster scholarly exchange and discussion on emerging issues and frontier research in the area.

Sarwah: Journal of Islamic Civilization and Thought publishes peer-reviewed articles on the Islamic civilization and thought. The following statements describe the ethical behavior of all parties involved in the act of publishing an article for Sarwah: a Journal of Islamic Civilization and Thought, i.e.: the author, the Editor, the peer reviewer and the publisher.
The Editor in Chief of Sarwah: Journal of Islamic Civilization and Thought is responsible for deciding which of the articles submitted to the journal should be published. The Editor in Chief is guided by the policies of the journal's editorial board and subjected to such legal requirements regarding copyright and plagiarism. The Editor in Chief may confer with other editors or reviewers in making this final decision.
