IMPLEMENTASI PENDIDIKAN KARAKTER PADA LEMBAGA PENDIDIKAN ISLAM

Abstract

Implementation of character education at the Islamic educational institutes is very related to the management and governance of an institution. The characters are certainly very closely related to how the planning, organizing, implementing and evaluation program of character education. Indirectly the management concept of values that need to be embedded in the curriculum, learning and the code of conduct as well as educators and educational personnel. Thus the management of an educational institution is one effective medium to instill character for learners. Character education can be internalized through conditioning-conditioning and exemplary examples of the teachers at the school and parents in a family environment. More important from it all, that character education will be implemented if the entire stake holder from an educational institution has shared awareness that character education is indeed urgently needed.
