Model Evaluasi dan Instrumen Program Pendidikan Pelatihan di Lembaga Pendidikan Islam

Abstract

This article illustrates model and instrument of education and training program evaluation applied by Islamic boarding school institutions. Effectiveness of the education and training implementation can improve education quality of Islamic boarding schools. The research paradigm is qualitative with literature study method. The research study refers to the education and training management concept. The findings show seven applicable education and training evaluation models namely (1) measurement model, (2) congruence model, (3) educational system evaluation model, (4) illumination model, (5) four-level model, and (6) ROI (return on investment) model and (7) CIPP (context, input, process and product) evaluation model. Instruments in the education and training evaluation in an outline manner are divided into two, namely qualitative and quantitative instruments. The qualitative instrument is used in the process of measuring input performance and the quantitative instrument is used in assessing the education and training evaluation process. Also, the ideal evaluation model must go through the following stages namely measurement; assessment: and evaluation.
